Fort Totten is a census-designated place (CDP) in Benson County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 1,243 at the 2010 census. Fort Totten is located within the Spirit Lake Indian Reservation and is the site of tribal headquarters. The reservation has a total population estimated at 6,000.

Bishop Michael R. Cole was ordained Bishop of the Church of God in Christ for the state of North Dakota in 1990. Bishop Cole pastors a diverse congregation of various Ethnic backgrounds in Grand Forks, North Dakota where all are welcome and free to come and worship in Spirit and in Truth. This church serves the city, the Air Force Base, surrounding towns and also many of the 1st Nation Reservations in North Dakota.
